Manga 'Kirei ni Shitemoraemasu ka.' Gets TV Anime in 2026

Production company Happinet opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Mitsuru Hattori's Kirei ni Shitemoraemasu ka. (Wash It All Away) manga, revealing the main cast, staff, and a teaser visual (pictured) on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2026.

Voice actress Sayumi Suzushiro (Bocchi the Rock!, Danjo no Yuujou wa Seiritsu suru? (Iya, Shinai!!)) is starring as Kinme Takana.

Hattori serialized the slice of life manga in Young Gangan magazine from July 2017 to June 2023. Square Enix published the tenth and final volume in August 2023.

Square Enix Manga & Books licensed the manga in English in July 2024 and released the first volume on April 22. The second volume is scheduled to go on sale on June 17.

Synopsis
With an endearing protagonist and luscious art, this seaside slice-of-life story offers tranquility in the chaos of the modern world. For two years, Wakana Kinme has run a laundry service in the seaside resort town of Atami, where she's built a fulfilling life making friends with the locals and visiting hot springs. @mshfqtny So let me get this right...we have an anime series (not talking about hentai ones) that has goblins that rape women in the worst and most painful way possible including other kind extreme violence to their bodies at the same time as the core/''selling point'' of it's story but anime that is about washing clothes somehow surprise you?

@Yubisoft Sayumi is also a rising star. Another thing is that this is a new manga from the author of Sankarea. The anime that was an important stage in my life, but at the same time indirectly almost became my very last anime in 2012.
