Well it sounds like you had a pretty nice weekend overall aside from the car issues. For me the battery cost around $260 USD, while the spark plugs cost me about $45 USD for six of them. Kind of an expensive month for me but I guess you got to do what you got to do. Yikes so it sounds like the weather can really affect the way you work on your car huh? I do hope you're able to fix it and that the heat and cold don't get in your way of maintenance.

How do you feel about tinted windows by the way? I'm thinking of getting mine tinted for privacy sake. Though I heard sometimes they can kind of create blind spots especially during the night time drives.

Oh boy, so I finally got everything resolved. And I can tell you one thing my man, it always pays to get a second opinion. So my battery died at work, to where I had to ask my boss if he would give me a boost to get to O'Reilly's. He did, then soon after I got there I took my battery to get checked along with the alternator and starter. O'Reilly's told me that all of them passed and there was no problems with them. They think I might need to replace some of my spark plugs which were overdue, so I went ahead and bought some spark plugs. However afterwards I decided to go to AutoZone and get a second opinion, when I did they tested my battery and it turns out it actually was bad. It was fully charged but it was still a bad battery. So I ended up getting a new battery and yep, that fixed the whole issue. Like I said, it really does pay to get a second opinion. I knew it had to be the battery! Had I not gone to AutoZone I would still be scratching my head trying to figure out what the problem was. Sorry for the mini rant.

Oh nice, I think I know which anime you're talking about with the dumbbells, it came out a few years back right? I've had my eye on that one too.

Other than my battery issue life has been good, did you do anything over the weekend? How was yours?

Okay gotcha! Thanks buddy you've been very helpful. I'll look into your recommendation soon. Boy howdy as the old saying goes when it rains it pours, I just found out tonight that my battery is starting to die. I'm manually charging it now for a good 2 to 3 hours, hoping that gets me to work in the morning, then I got to take it in tomorrow just to make sure it's not the alternator. *sigh*

By the way, we having casually chatted in a while. What's new with you?

Awesome! Thank you very much for the help buddy. So what brand of metalfix do you recommend? Do you have a link to a specific one you use? I was reading up on the internet about it and it seems like some of them don't last as long as others. According to videos on YouTube anyway.

Gotcha! I'll make sure not to delete it. :)

Okay here is a quick video I took of underneath my car early in the morning. I hope you can make out the drip, my phone doesn't have the best camera.

Hey speaking of which, you got me curious, how exactly do you wash your car? What are your preferences? I used to use the automatic car washes that they have at certain gas stations, but now I never use those anymore because it ended up stripping away some of my paint. I always heard that that was possible to do in a vehicle when going through that method, but I never had it happen to me before. I think the reason is is because I got a poor paint job done to my Nissan Xterra and once I washed it the paint has just started to peel more and more as time has gone on. It probably wouldn't have lasted me very long anyway, but I certainly sped up the deterioration sadly. Just wondering how you felt about the whole situation with your Mitsubishi.

Also recently I started getting some, what looks like condensation from the middle of my vehicle under this huge drum. I took a sample of it in a cup because it only tends to leak in the morning when I'm heating my car, it's a clear liquid that doesn't have any odor. So I assumed it was condensation. Thoughts?

Things have been well for me other than a few of my car woes as you can tell. I really been enjoying the warmer days, although you would never know it here sometimes because even though we are in spring and almost in summer, it decided to hail a few days ago. XD

Yeah those parts can be pretty tricky to go through. I don't have a newer car model that has those, but one of my friends owns one and they have problems with them as well.

As for me I've been fine. Looking up some more classic anime when I can. By the way speaking of cars, I drive a delivery truck and it looks like our front grid actually blew off with the wind we've had recently. It's been super strong, and the grid holder might go next which means the radiator would be visible now. It's actually kind of hilarious. XD

Hey there my Otaku brother, been a while since we last chatted. How are things with your vehicle these days been?
Retro8bit Mar 30, 7:13 PM
Nice! A good year. It feels reassuring to have a car that is good at driving in both the rain and snow. I once had a leak coming from my sunroof in my SUV back some years ago. I tried to fix it on my own, but then eventually discovered that the tubes that let the rain out under the car were simply clogged. So I applied air pressure to it and that's all the problem was. My best advice? Never get a car with a sunroof! XD

Yes retro anime is the best! It can never beat creating titles with original cel art. Plus I just love the art style. Hmmm out of the titles you mentioned I would say my favorite is probably Galaxy Express 999. I remember watching that on the Syfy channel way back in the day when they would show anime on Saturday mornings. I watched the OVA movie first, and was shocked to find out it was an abridged version of the actual series. I did love that at the very least Captain Harlock showed up in it, even if it was brief.

And you liked Last Exile. You're alright by me! LOL

Ouch! Very sorry to hear about your car problems there bud. I hope you're able to get everything ironed out with your insurance. Is it going to cover at least the other person? By the way if you don't mind me asking what type of vehicle do you drive? I have a 2001 Nissan Xterra SUV that spin with me since 2003. Not the most high-end model anymore, but it's my baby.

You are an old school anime fan as well? High five buddy! What are some of your favorite series from back in the day? I see from your profile that you're a huge Sailor Moon fan. Such an iconic classic!
