That's why he's one of my favorite MC's. His character grows so much in S3, especially in some parts, his character shines so much during S3.

The manga does it way better than the anime. The only reason why the anime cut stuff out was that, it would've been stupid obvious who the bride would've been. Albeit, I'd still read the manga since it's just better than the anime. Miku only makes sense because of how dedicated she was to be with Futaro, plus, she had the most development with him. So it only makes sense.

I listen to Crying For Rain as well, actually. Minami is such a good singer. I listen to a lot of the Re:zero endings and openings as well. The ones I listen to are Styx Helix, Nox Lux, Paradisus-Paradoxum, Stay Alive, Wishing, Memento, Believe in you and Redo. That's like all of them but who cares, they're all good. I listen to one song from the Peggies, it's the Bunny Girl Senpai opening. Don't know the name for it but it's good. I listen to way too much Yoasobi. Love their songs so much.

Songs I like would be Departures - Anata ni Okuru Ai no Uta -, mine, and this song from Yoasobi that i don't know the name of, just to same a few. A couple bands/artist I like are Hoshimachi Suisei, Dazbee, Egoist, KMNZ, kessoku band, Nornis and WaMi. I actually don't listen anything outside of Jpop and J-rock. I listen to anime OST sometimes. Does that count?

I will eventually get to it, I don't read manga everyday, so it's going to take a while to finish even ONE.

You definitely should read it. Chapter 95 would be where Season 3 starts. From what I remember, theres not much you're missing out on so, I think you could start from where you're at. That's up to you to decide though.

I'm from Canada, currently Spring rn. Are you good over there? I'm genuinely concerned.

I appreciate that you took the time to properly check out my MAL page, thanks a lot! To keep it brief and spoiler free, despite the abhorrent yet "fitting" (I understand what story mangaka wanted to tell with the way he wrote the last chapters up until the finale) ending, I thoroughly enjoyed anticipating and reading each chapter, week by week. It shall remain one of my favorite mangas as the whole experience, both the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, was fantastic and I would do relive it all again if I could. Arima Kana is amazing!
Thanks, you have great taste yourself!

That scene was definitely both a turning point in the anime as well as my interest in it. Leading up to that scene, it was rather slow and I felt very indifferent, even a little bored at watching it. Unbeknownst to me, it would end up being my favorite anime of all time.
Likewise!

Everytime I listen to Requiem of Silence, I get flashbacks of that scene. Subaru is like us, we can't do anything just like him. That's what makes him relatable.

I feel like Yotsuba was an okay choice to be honest. Sure, she was the first to actually accept Futaro when he was tutoring them but the other girls had way more development with him. To be honest, Miku should've won. I'm pretty sure the winner was supposed to be Itsuki but then the author changed their mind halfway through. Even with that, she did deserve it in the end and the manga made the ending a lot better.

I understand what you mean, since you already know what happens, it doesn't click as much as it did with the first time you watched it.

Oh yeah, I listen to an unhealthy amount of Zutomayo. Time Left is a really good song. I have seen that ending in particular (obviously), but haven't watched Chainsaw man. Hope you enjoy them! They're my favorites. You listen to any other Jpop artists?

Oh sweet, thanks for the recommendation. I'll add it to my PTR, thanks. :)

I prefer the manga more, mostly because it gets so good in the later volumes. The anime mostly focuses on Kaguya and Shirogane but the manga likes to focus on all of the characters. Especially in the later volumes, they tend to focus on Ishigami and Iino's relationship. Hayasaka gets her own arc, which is my favorite arc from the manga and probably the best in the series. There might be some parts that can make you emotional too. Even if there isn't the animation, the voice acting or the OST, I still prefer the manga over the anime. If you want to continue off where the anime ended, you can continue off of chapter 139, since they only adapted up to chapter 138.

Well I was born with it pretty much, but it got worse overtime to the point where my eyesight got so bad that I can somewhat get around with it, but can't read, see people faces clearly and like that. My favorite arc from hxh is also probably the chimera ant, cause the fights, story and characters were so good and interesting.

I really enjoyed the Quints manga. It was actually the first manga that I ever finished. Without bias to that though, it's totally worth reading if you enjoyed the anime. I watched the anime before I read the manga. That made it 10x more fun because I could "hear" the dialogue in their voices lol.

Favorite romance anime... I have quite a few that I really love. I'll shoutout Oregairu, Wotakoi, and Chobits. A lot of others that are worth mentioning, but all of them are on my list somewhere if you really wanna look around at what I've seen.

I've never seen ReLife I might have to check that one out!

Thank you again for the kind words, I'm the resident Kirari (and Sawashiro Miyuki) fan of my friend group so I appreciate the love! If you are looking for a fun anime that isn't super long, I highly recommend giving Kakegurui a shot. It's one of my favorites. The only reason I haven't started the manga is because I haven't gotten around to buying the physical volumes yet. ^_^

Back to Quints real quick, I do like all of the girls. If I had to be a hater though, I think Ichika is my least favorite. I love Hanazawa Kana so much I can look past it xD. Itsuki and Nino are my favorites. Itsuki finds her way into my 10 favorites from time to time. After reading the manga, I was a lot more satisfied with the winner. The anime didn't feel nearly as rewarding to finish as the manga did in that regard.

Cheers! Hope you have a great week as well!

I also have a ton of favorite scenes. The obvious one is where he gets frozen over and the Requiem of Silence plays. That scene actually had my jaw open the whole time. I didn't even blink when watching it. Another is of course the Rem confession scene, can never forget about that scene. The Kiss of Death scene and the scene where Subaru was getting eaten alive were traumatizing. They aren't my favorite scenes but they left a huge impact on me. The part where Garfiel killed Elsa was an amazing scene. The last one that I could think of was the Choose Me scene. I still have more but I literally can't remember them all.

Should've made it a harem route tbh. Oh yeah, I've read it. The manga is better than the anime, obviously, since it doesn't cut stuff out. You should definitely read it, I really enjoyed it.

@UnlistedHyper, you and me both, Itsuki and Nino are my two favorites by a mile!

Just wanted to toss that in there xD

Hey, I really appreciate the kind words! Thank you for the friend request, nice to meet you!

I see you have Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari in your favorites. I have been meaning to get on this manga for sooooo long. This just gave me so much more motivation to start it soon.
UnlistedHyper May 1, 2:35 PM
Thanks for the friend request! Hope you're doing well. :)

You've got good taste too. I've also been into Romance a ton lately, but I've been mostly watching SoL.

Glad to see another Re:zero enjoyer, got any favorite moments from it?

TQQ is also one of my favorites. I wish Itsuki won but I already knew she didn't have a chance at winning :(

Thanks! You've got amazing taste as well. Some romance manga recommendations are Kaguya Sama(Peak Romcom), Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion(Great Manhwa), Maybe Meant to Be(also great manhwa), Nana(great manga), My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999(good manga), Ao no hako(great manga). These are not romances, but I think you should check out Yuukoku no Moriarty, Higurashi, and Umineko. Moriarty is a great mystery manga. Higurashi's peak and Umineko's the greatest story ever written(in my subjective opinion). Both Higurashi and Umineko have multiple parts, each with a separate MAL page. You should also check out omniscient reader's viewpoint. It's a very long web novel with 500+ chapters, but if it's too much for you, then you can just check out the manhwa instead.

what about you ??
Natesune Mar 30, 2:28 AM
sorry for the late reply I forget to check messages on here sometimes lol, but manga with really good art is kinda hard to recommend because at the end of the day it's very subjective. I am someone that grew up on manga like Bleach and Naruto so even during the beginning where it is noticeably rougher than later chapters I never thought it was bad.

one manga that I adore the art for is Berserk, but that is a very dark manga so I wouldn't really recommend it unless you are okay with very difficult topics. Murata's art for the One Punch man manga is also really good. Honestly though just read whatever you like even if others don't care much for it. The whole point in reading manga/ watching anime is to make sure you are enjoying yourself.
